After being frustrated by many sleep apps that were just too bright and airy, I wanted something deeper and darker.
That sent me down the rabbit hole of “dark ambient” on Bandcamp, and I’ve been on a mission ever since, seeking out the right flavor of dark ambient and drone music that fit the Goodnight, Metal Friend vibe.
No drums.
No sudden shrieks.
Nothing too airy and bright.
Nothing too melodic or rhythmic.
